Danielle was born and raised in Southfield, MI, a suburb of Detroit. When she wasn't playing on the volleyball court or softball field, she enjoyed cheering on her favorite collegiate football team, the Michigan Wolverines. Danielle moved to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi in 1997, but soon made her way to New Orleans. She fell in love with the culture, and she now considers New Orleans home. She lives in Kenner, with her daughter BriAnna, who is a Sophomore at UNO. Danielle is now a dual collegiate football fan of the LSU Tigers and Michigan Wolverines. And on any given Sunday, she will be cheering on the New Orleans Saints.
Danielle spends a lot of time volunteering with the Arthritis Foundation, where she is an active board member for the Louisiana Chapter. She also sits on the board of a New Orleans Mardi Gras Indian Tribe in the 7th Ward. You will see her second lining on Super Sunday, during Mardi Gras, and at Jazzfest.
Professionally, Danielle has had a very diverse career in Human Resource Management since 1998, focusing on HR Administration, and Payroll and Benefits Management. Currently, she is a member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) and has a producer's license in Life, Health, and Accident Insurance. She is currently planning on going back to school to obtain her PHR (Professional in Human Resources) designation.
